Congratulations to Hillsborough’s own Erin Jones who recently found a way to beat the tough economy. Jones won $50,000 dollars on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” She used all four of her lifelines and walked away with her winnings after hearing the $100,000 question.

Jones graduated from Immaculata High School in 1999. She has always had an interest in History and trivia so she was a perfect match for the show. She prepared by playing trivia games, studying history and watching the show. She also lucked out and got a question about New Kids on the Block, a personal favorite.

Jones plans to use her winnings to pay off student loans and for an exotic island honeymoon after her upcoming wedding. Congratulations again to Erin for her winnings and her fifteen minutes of fame.
