Target Marketing to the Extreme
John Bendall owner of Re/Max Classic Group offers discusses new techniques to market to individuals.
We have all heard of, and most of us have taken part in, target marketing. These days target marketing has reached a new extreme as marketing is really taken to the individual level. I have always stressed the importance of building personal relationships to grow your business and now that is more important than ever. Clients are no longer impressed by mass marketing; they are looking for something that speaks to them personally.
How do you go about reaching out to individuals in a cost effective manner? In order to make good use of your time and money it is necessary to reach out to individuals in a one- on-one manner on a large scale. One way to do this is by using a Real Estate specific database management program. These programs allow you to create and assign any number of marketing plans to each individual in your database. These campaigns can consist of any combination of mailings, e-mails, and reminders for phone calls.
One company that is seeking to make one-on-one contact with clients as simple as possible is The Personal Marketing Company who has just released My Personal Advantage SM Marketing System. The Personal Marketing Company claims that this product makes keeping in touch with clients as easy as six clicks. What the product does is provide customizable marketing plans that agents can tailor to each individual. They can choose how and when the client is to be contacted and can also choose from several different types of material depending on who it is going to be sent to. “A wide variety of campaigns are available for prospecting, client follow-up and special occasions, making it easy to stay in touch with prospects and clients. Users can view all materials within a campaign with one click, before making their selections.”
Regardless of what type of program or system you use to stay in touch with your clients the important thing is to build and maintain relationships. Good relationships will benefit your business in any number of ways.
