Over the River and Through the Woods
John Bendall owner of Re/Max Classic Group discusses a fall event to make a new tradition.
Just in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday the Covered Bridge Artisans tour offers an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of our area as well as the works of local artisans.
The Covered Bridge Artisans consist of 14 local artists who show their work in five studios. From November 23rd to 25th studios in Lambertville, Stockton and Sergentsville will be featuring arts and crafts produced by this group of artists.
The tour also includes an additional group of artists whose work will be show in Locktown.
While there are still colorful leaves hanging onto the trees you can enjoy the drive as you visit each of the participating studios. Maps are available at CoveredBridgeArtisans.com and at the General Store in Sergentsville.
The types of works that will be shown will include everything from hand crafted pottery to Impressionist paintings. It will be a great time to get started, or if you’re really good, to finish up your holiday shopping. Many one of a kind gift items will be available like hand woven chenille scarves and handcrafted beaded jewelry. Your loved ones will be truly touched by the thought and care you put into selecting a unique hand crafted gift.
Come see what this beautiful part of our state has to offer both in natural beauty and in natural talent. You may want to make this tour a new part of your Thanksgiving weekend tradition!
