It’s About Perspective

My latest appearance on MSNBC gave me the opportunity to offer a different perspective on the current Real Estate market.  We have all seen the enormous amount of negative stories on the subject but the truth is that the outlook here in Central New Jersey is not all that bad.  As I mentioned on the show, if you are looking to move up you may sell for a little less than you would like in this market, but you will also be buying for a better price so it evens out.  I also mentioned that people have had to scramble a little to get mortgages because some programs have been eliminated, however there is still a variety of products out there to help buyers reach their goal of homeownership. 

I also had the opportunity to offer a different side to the comparison of stock market investments to Real Estate.  Real Estate offers a number of advantages over stock, for one you can live in it!  There are also tax benefits to Real Estate ownership that you do not get by owning stocks.  To see the segment click on the following link.
