We have a number of great opportunities in our area to support local sports teams, whether professional, college, or high school.  One such opportunity presented itself last year with gusto.  The Rutgers football team had an amazing season, bringing fans out of the woodwork and making game attendance extraordinarily popular. 

As students get read to return to school for the fall semester, the football players are already on the field practicing.  Rutgers football is likely to maintain its popularity in the upcoming season.  It is not attendance at games that is growing in popularity, but also possible attendance at the school itself.  According to a recent article in the Star Ledger, “The number of high school students and their families taking Rutgers’ bus tours jumped 64 percent over last year, an all-time high.”

If you want to catch some Scarlet fever and a few games this year don’t hesitate to try and find available tickets, the current waiting list for season tickets is 6,000 potential fans long.
