John Bendall owner of Re/Max Classic Group describes the Good Times this year’s attendees of the Quick Check Festival of Ballooning had.

To those of you who made it out to the 25^th annual Quick Check Festival of Ballooning this weekend you know that the event was a great success, despite the rather ominous weather forecast.  The festival was held this past weekend at Solberg airport in Readington. The mass ascensions of 125+ balloons went off as scheduled, as most of the weekends bad weather held off or occurred outside the festival hours.  A couple of new balloons premiered at the festival this year including enormous Birthday cake to celebrate the 25^th anniversary of this event.

The family fun that this event provides is much anticipated throughout the year.  This year’s attractions and entertainment did not disappoint.  There were fireworks, amusement rides, interactive exhibits and live entertainment.  The interactive exhibits included the NBA Jam Van, Warner Bros. Animation Backlot Tour, and the Quick Check Entertainment Tent.  Some of the many entertaining shows included the Purina Incredible Dog Team, the aerial thrill show Galaxy of Thrills, and the Cyber Cycle motorcycle show. As always there were several musical performances including Chuck Negron, The Jonas Brothers, and Princeton’s’ own Blues Traveler.  The festival was caped off Sunday afternoon with a performance by Creedence Clearwater Revisited.  A great time was had by all.  If you missed it be sure to check it out next year!
