Dwight Hathaway joins the Bendall Group at RE/MAX Classic Group in central New Jersey

Dwight E. Hathaway is a 3^rd generation realtor. Like his grand father Frank C. Hathaway of Newark NJ and his father Kenneth E. Hathaway of Hillside N.J Dwight found real estate sales came e asy to him as it h as been in the family blood for so many years. Dwight can tell stories of how he used to watch his fathers customers children when they went out to look at homes. Dwight’s father shared many stories about the real estate industry just as Televisions started to creep into homes.

Starting his real estate carrier in the early 70’s Dwight learned from the trenches on how to list and sell real estate. He w as thought how to qualify buyers take mortgage applications, help appraisers meet the contract price and so on. Dwight can explain what points are in a mortgage process and how it is you best interest to consider how to pay them or not. The years of hands on experience Dwight brings to the table for both buyers, seller and fellow realtors is imme asurable.

Dwight grew up in Hillside and Union and cut his teeth on the Union county real estate market. In 1980 Dwight married his Bride Mary Gilhooly of Milltown NJ. After their wedding Dwight remained in the Union County market until 1995 when the desire to be closer to his children Scott, Megan and Amanda made him relocate to the Middlesex county real estate market. After 7 years and building a strong following of satisfied customers long time friend and comrade John W. Bendall called Dwight and ask his assistance in Building The Bendall Group. John had started the Bendall Group many years before but w as at a stage were Dwight’s experience and expertise w as need. Dwight gladly heeded the call and in July 2003 Dwight Joined the Bendall Group. Since that time the growth and demands of the business h as caused the Bendall Group to grow and for John to open REMAX Cl assic Group. With John leading the industry in building a company to provide top shelf service to their client the company also provides top shelf service the his realtors. Dwight h as always lived by the model you have to enjoy what you’re doing other wise there is no sense doing it. Dwight enjoys his home away from home in Branchburg N.J.

As a family man Dwight enjoys being apart of the growth and development of his 3 children. His son Scott is in his l ast year at William Patterson University where he played football for 3 years and is acquiring a degree in communication, Megan a senior at Rutgers University is also a strong administrator at REMAX Cl assic Group. Dwight tries not to get his feeling hurt when Megan tells him that he h as to wait there are others requiring her help first. Amanda is now a senior at Spotswood High school and is hoping to start college next year at Kean. Dwight wife of 26 wonderful years works in New Brunswick with the Rutgers police department.
