RE/MAX Fleet Featured in Balloon Life Magazine
The RE/MAX balloon fleet, one of the premier hot air balloon fleets in the world, graced the pages of the February/March issue of Balloon Life magazine.
The story, "RE/MAX: From an Idea to a Fleet," follows the history of the RE/MAX Balloon from the birth of the idea with RE/MAX of New Mexico Regional Directors Darrel Stilwell and Bill Echols to the launching of Soaring Home, the special-shape balloon that looks like a house and flies like a dream.
Since the first RE/MAX balloon launched in Albuqueque in 1978, the fleet has grown to more than 90 balloons. The RE/MAX Balloon is now one of the most recognized corporate logos in the world.
"People of all ages love the balloon and are excited to see it fly," says RE/MAX International Balloon Pilot Russ McLain. "When it garners extra media attention, either on television or in an article like this, that’s just icing on the cake."
